Beulah Beach Haven
Welcome to Beulah Beach Haven, Tata Beach - a very special part of the Golden Bay, situated in the North West corner of New Zealand's beautiful South Island. At Tata Beach you are surrounded by an abundance of special places. The world famous Abel Tasman National Park with its fabulous golden beaches lies alongside to the east, while the mountainous expanses of the Kahurangi National Park unfold to the south. Right in front of us is Golden Bay itself, with the fascinating sand curve of Farewell Spit all but closing the entrance to this large bay.
Beulah Beach Haven sits in the centre of Tata Beach, a golden scimitar of sand perfect for swimming, boating, or just relaxing. Walk off the expansive front decks and in twenty paces your feet are cooled by the waters of the bay.
The house has been used by the Tucker family since it was completed in October 1960 by Anne'sgrandparents - Dorothy and Charlie Tucker. Anne and her husband Devon McLean purchased the property in 2004 and have completely renovated it making it a delight to live in whether in the middle of summer - with the large slider doors wide open, or winter - with the underfloor heating and gas fire.
We love this place so we hope you will enjoy its specialness too!
