This delightful beach front property was discovered by Dorothy and Charlie Tucker back in 1959 when it was just gorse and ran a few stock.  This was purchased after checking various other possible locations in the Marlborough Sounds and Golden Bay to find a suitable spot for their four adult children and their children to enjoy for school holidays.

As it is beach front, its stunning uninterrupted views of Golden Bay and the Tata Islands are able to be enjoyed without a road to cross to walk on the golden sands, just 20 metres from the front decks. The sloping beach makes it ideal for swimming and boating - one of only a few in the Bay.  Whether summer or winter, walk out the large front slider doors, across the esplanade and jump in the tide for a refreshing swim.

Anne Tucker and her husband Devon McLean purchased the property in 2004 and completely renovated it making it a delight to live in whether in the middle of summer - with the large slider doors wide open to enjoy the warmth of the sun, or winter - cozy warm with with the underfloor heating and gas fire.

The summer is great with plenty of boating and swimming activity.

The winter is particularly beautiful with clear blue skies, little wind and hardly anyone around.

We love this place so we hope you will enjoy its specialness too!
